Slowly and Surely
Sandee Macgregor / July 5, 2021
Slowly and Surely
For my dear Samantha our graduate of 2021
Slowly and surely her wings gained strength
The nest grew smaller
Her strength, mightier
The landings more confident, graceful and soft
Pursuing the next sure thing
As sure as it goes
One never knows
But by the grace of God
Her wings will carry her
His wind will keep her, hold her, surround her
Slowly and surely her wings gained strength
Through it all grant her Lord the ability to:
Persevere when dark clouds are looming
Press-on while the rain falls
Produce character as the climate changes
Predict the only constant in her life is you Lord-
Her strong tower
Love, Mom
“but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint”
Isaiah 40:31

"The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven."

What a beautiful verbal prayerful send off as sweet Sam takes
Off, rising on wings as eagles, run and not get weary, she can walk and not faint. You’ve let her go with your blessing and the blessing of the Lord surrounding her, angels guarding her. Still It’s not easy!❣️One day she will know. Bless you dear Sandee 😢💗. Another mother’s heart…
You let me go and gave me wings to fly – the Holy Spirit was the surge of wind that carried me through my hills and valleys xo
