Hope-Filled Reminders
Sandee Macgregor / November 25, 2021
This morning Katie and I read through our Answers In Genesis Apologetics Set with the focus verse Genesis 6:20,
“Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive.”
We marveled at the verses that tell of how the animals were led to the ark by God. Noah was to gather food and God would call the animals to him and inside the ark. Astounding really! I began to think more about the deep, deep love God has for us. He cares so much for us. Every little detail is in his mighty hands. He created us for a purpose. Each animal that embarked on the 40 days and 40 nights safe and dry inside the ark was not an accident. How much more does our heavenly Father care for us! We are not accidents. The plans and purposes for our lives often misunderstood and in that confusion our hearts can become hardened and bitter.
I have held my head in my hands and shed many tears wondering and questioning about the times at hand. Lots of questions looming and swirling. What pulls me back almost every time are the voices of loved ones speaking life into me drawing me out of the darkness and back into where the light is brightest. God has a beautiful way of loving us through others. I have shared about that theme before but I love to talk about the goodness of God and how he uses others intentionally in my life!
God planned all the intricate details required for the ark to be the safe haven it was for Noah, his family and the animals. He also is the same God that plans our moments and days. We can read about the end of Noah’s story, he could not. He put his faith in God and obeyed. Aren’t we required to do the same? That was another big takeaway this morning.
Feeling weary today? Motherhood has those moments but remember you are loved and you are a mom today because God planned it that way!
God has a wonderful plan, even when it doesn’t feel like it or is confusing
We need to have faith in him and obey his Word.

"The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven."
