I just received a gift from my dear sister Charmaine. She is so thoughtful in many creative ways! This gift is so special to me because of the truth that I can place on my finger and in my heart. The ring has a tiny mustard seed inside a heart. I will wear this and remember to have faith no matter what! It is a reminder I am not alone!

The encouragement I receive from her is life-giving. Even though separated by many miles and a border, it does not stop the daily connections we have together. I know she is always praying for me and at the ready with encouragement. I have three beautiful sisters (one by marriage to my bro) and I know at any time I can reach out when my faith is challenged and my heart aching. I also know that they will celebrate along with me too.

Gratitude targets pain like light pierces the darkness.

Days can be dark, bleak and hard to find joy. If you are feeling joyless or hopeless you are not alone. We have a good, good Father!
