Maunday Thursday is a time to come together and remember what God commanded us to do in John 13:34, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”  Christianity Today has a good article that helps us to understand the meaning behind this Thursday before Good Friday. It is a night to remember the command to love!

I’m going old school here! Back in the day when I was teaching in a classroom we would have visits from various companies selling books. I was always a sucker for books and well, I still am (sorry dear husband!). I saw this one display and have kept it now for many years! I like to open an actual book and read a recipe. So, in this book are a few Easter ideas below, simple and fun!

 

 

 

Encouragement for moms:

This may be a a tough time for moms. We want our children to know the love of Christ and many have chosen to walk a different path. I sensed that more than one need a word of encouragement. This interview with  FOTF is a wonderful testimony to the praying mom. Don’t stop praying and trusting, Fern did not. Her son Ty has a testimony that will bring tears to your eyes. We knew this family way back in the days we lived out west and my folks were on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ (which is now Power to Change). Listen in and be blessed, I know I was!
