It is a gift to celebrate my dad today. A man that loves the Lord and has taught his family what it looks like daily to trust in God! I am honoured to post about his courage, strength and determination! 

 

From a humble Saskatchewan farm

to a pharmacist by trade

Hard-working single man,

he had it made. 

Married to his beautiful bride

A woman of grace

Full of love and adventure

Always at his side.

Children arrived, 1 and 2

While a missionary in Africa

They began their crew.

Back to North American soil

Alberta is now their home

Now a father of 3

Yes, that was me!

Carrer changes again

Campus Crusade called their name,

Thinking of baby #4,

They needed a name.

 Through mountainous terrain,

They made it to the west coast,

Began a new life

With four now in tow,

He had every right to boast!

A mentor to countless

 A servant of Christ

A prayer warrior indeed nothing less.

He opened his Bible

Took us to church,

Taught us to pray

He laid a foundation

I hold onto today.
