It is a joy to have met Laura Ross and enjoyed lingering lunches and delicious dinners sharing about our lives, interests and families. As she shared about her heart for women that deserve to be loved and restored after the trauma of being trafficked I knew I wanted to know more about what she does! Some of us don’t fully realize what God calls us to do until later in life, but for others, the seed is planted early on. This was the case for Laura Ross, founder of SEEDS Canada, an organization that seeks to house and support survivors of human trafficking safely. Laura’s story is a testament to how God delights in doing more than what we ask. Her work with survivors reminds us that moments of new life and hope are found in trusting Jesus.
