I remember saying to my SIL before this site was launched devotional a reality, if this can encourage one mom and one daughter, that is my hope and prayer. So when I recently received this note, I was emotional and joyful all at once. I wanted to share the heart of this devotional through her words:

 

 

 

 

It is an honour to know that God has used this to draw a mother and daughter together in this way. God knew (always does!) what he was doing when he prompted me to write this mother-daughter devotional.

Through recent weeks I have been going through the devotional again and it is truly a joy to read the words written in the journal. It is so sweet to see Katie secretly write out her thoughts and make sure I am not watching! Then she puts it back on the kitchen island for me to read. Her words are so meaningful, I will treasure this dearly.

 We have also been enjoying two other books that we read in the morning together. Courageous World Changers by Shirley Raye Redmond:

Both of these have been really wonderful to read during the week. We are learning about new women that changed the world along with meaningful devotionals combined with scientific facts that inspire and wow you! I love reading out loud and watching God’s word come to life.
